Abstract

This simple tool solves for the phase equilibrium of a multicomponent mixture, for given pressure and temperature.

The user has to provide the number and the mass fractions of the components in the mixture.

The model uses the Herny's law and Raoult's law to compute the equilibrium.

It is possible to give a range of values for pressure and temperature in order to build a table of equilibrium values.

Two examples are provided: one for a mixture of water and carbon dioxide and one for a magmatic mixture with melt, water and carbon dioxide.
