It is basaltic in composition, and has built a 3770 m high composite volcano around a central vent. It has had more than 60 historic eruptions and is often marked with low level activity.
The site is aimed to help scientists who are evaluating whether to do field work.

The site is new and needs corrections and additions--please send them along.
