An Unnamed volcano is located near the Turkey/Syrian border.

The volcano was reported to have erupted sometime in 1222 at a site near Killis (Turkey).

The eruption expelled a long Basaltic – Andesitic lava flow that runs for around 716 m. The lava flow fills in a preexisting canyon.

The eruptions came from (possibly) a small cinder cone that sits at the head of the canyon.

Judging by the size of the cone and lava flow, it seems fair to say that the volcano formed in 1222 because of a reigonal graben.
