This presentation summarizes the 50 year eruption and the 3 dimensional map produced. The map, prepared as part of an MS thesis by Ruben Otoniel Matias Gomez, is under review as a Map and Chart Series publication by the GSA. The lecture summarizes the situation at Pacaya, and uses Matias' map as well as observations by Jose Luis Palma, Rudiger Escobar Wolf, Gustavo Chigna and many other volcanologists. It is meant as a background information for people considering research study there.
