• Biography

  My research focuses on understanding hazardous volcanic phenomenon, in particular how protracted pyroclastic density currents and lahars behave through time and space. This is with a view to understanding volcanic hazards and the risk they might pose to volcanic communities.
  
  I also research magma petrogenesis from unusual peralkaline magmas to basaltic seamounts.
