Welcome to the website of the IAVCEI Remote Sensing Commission (RSC). The IAVCEI RSC aims to promote the use of field, airborne, and spaceborne remote sensing techniques for the analysis of volcanic eruptions and the mitigation of volcanic hazards. Anyone interested in tracking volcanic eruption clouds using remote sensing techniques, and who wishes to keep abreast of the latest events, is welcome to join the IAVCEI RSC.
