Will a future eruption of Tenerife occur soon? How will they predict when it will erupt? What will the eruption be like? Will it be explosive or produce pyroclastic flows or lahars? Could it cause a tsunami that could flood areas of the world like the UK? Would it affect other areas in the world? Are there any planned evacuations in such events of the volcano erupting? I am doing a research project at college at the moment in the UK for my Extended Project Qualification about what impact an eruption of mount teide could have, especially on the tourist industry of Tenerife, and the volcanic hazards. If anyone knows any information or any websites/books that could aid my research it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :)
