How to reply to a message

If I view a message in the “Messages” tab of my profile (e.g., https://vhub.org/members/71/messages?msg=81) how do I reply to that message? There is no “reply” option. Also, how do I send a message to another user? I can only seem to read, delete, or archive a message.

It appears that the messages are auto-generated by the HUB, triggered by some action. Their purpose is a notification rather than an interactive request from a human being. For example, when I answer this question, you will get a message notifying you that an answer has been posted. But you don’t need to send me a message back. You can, however, go to the questions and answers section and post a reply, if you wish.
