The University of Alaska Fairbanks, in partnership with the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology and Kamchatka State University, invites you to our annual field trip to Mutnovsky and Gorely volcanoes in Kamchatka. The trip is scheduled for August 2-15, 2013. Participants will have an opportunity to explore two active arc volcanoes - Mutnovsky and Gorely, featuring a wide range of volcanic processes and phenomena, from products of caldera-forming eruptions to active fumaroles. Students will receive 3 hours of undergraduate or graduate credit through UAF. |
