Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning, or WebDAV, is a set of extensions to the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP). WebDAV allows users to edit and manage files collaboratively on remote World Wide Web servers like VHub. From your client (laptop, desktop, etc.) you can use the WebDAV protocol to remotely access and manage your files on VHub as if they were on your local machine (albeit a bit more slowly).
